GHMC Commissioner makes surprise visit
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy on Saturday made a surprise visit to the South Zone, Zonal Office at Sardar Mahal, Charminar.
Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy on Saturday made a surprise visit to the South Zone, Zonal Office at Sardar Mahal, Charminar.
During his visit to the South Zone, Zonal Office on Saturday, the Commissioner had found several old files pilingup and broken furniture. He directed officials to clear the same immediately. He also inspected Citizen Service centre and enquired whether the birth and death certificates were issued as per guidelines.
Janardhan Reddy directed officials to remove heaps of garbage in areas like Ramsingh Pur, Moghal ka Nala within three days. The Commissioner also visited old pension office at Lad Bazaar where he inspected sanitary items which are being given to the sanitary workers and also asked the workers whether they were paid salaries regular salaries.
Srinivas Reddy, Zonal Commissioner (South Zone), Imtiyaz Ahmed, Chief Engineer, Venkateshwar Reddy, Chief Veterinary Officer accompanied the Commissioner.
