An automobile workshop under the aegis of National Institute of Technical Training (NITT) was inaugurated by Mohammed Jalaluddin Akbar, Director Minority Welfare Department of Telangana State, at its premises in Shaheen Nahar near Pahadi Shareef in the city on Sunday.

An automobile workshop under the aegis of National Institute of Technical Training (NITT) was inaugurated by Mohammed Jalaluddin Akbar, Director Minority Welfare Department of Telangana State, at its premises in Shaheen Nahar near Pahadi Shareef in the city on Sunday.

He applauded the efforts of NITT which is managed by the 100-year-old Ashraful Madaris Education Society (AMES)and is co-sponsored by SEEBD, a US-based NGO. SEED Executive Director, Mazharuddin Hussaini, said they were happy to be associated with an institution that was rendering yeomen service to the society.

M M Awar, Chairman of AMES explained that the institute provides monthly stipend of Rs 800 to candidates who enroll into various courses offered by them while the Secretary Mujeeb said the courses included automobile technician, AC and refrigeration and house wiring. Mujtaba Hasan Askari (Helping Hand Foundation) and Principal of NITT Qutubuddin also graced the occasion.
