Raghuramaiah's birth anniversary fete

Kalyanam Raghuramaiah, popularly known as Eelapata Raghuramaiah, was a Telugu drama and also a yester year’s film actor in Telugu. He also received Padmasri award. Vijayawada Cultural organisations, Somanath Clutural Arts, Andhra Arts Academy, Desika Arts Academy and Vedagangotri,

remembered Raghuramaiah and celebrated his 115th birth anniversary at Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Turlapati Kutumba Rao said that Raghuramaiah started his acting carrier at the age of eight and grew up as a star.

Koganti Satyam, industrialist said that Raghuramayya is known as Eelapata Raghuramaiah and even he plays any role public used to request him for that whistle songs.Earlier disciples of Ghantasala Pavan Kumar presented classical dance performance, which was enjoyed by the gathering.

On this occasion Prasannitaha displayed her talent by rendering some film songs. The organisers felicitated Prasannitha on the platform. The organisers also honored eminent personalities form different fields viz. Kalyanam Narsimha Rao, K Satyanarayana, Pilla Venkateswara Rao, Naraharisetty Srihari,
