M C honoured with Polavarapu Koteswara Rao Award

Dr MC Das, a noted management consultant and capital based scholar was felicitated and presented with the Polavarapu Koteswara Rao Award on Sunday by Vijayawada Cultural Academy on Sunday evening at Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Government Music and Dance College.

The guests present on that occasion hailed the services rendered by Dr MC Das to the society. Dr Turlapati Kutumabarao said that Das is an encyclopedia of all subjects. He also said that Das can deal with any subject efficiently. Dr Chivukula Sunadra Rama Sarma said that Das is an educationalist, an actor, a consultant and a good counselor and he deserves this felicitation.

Sarma also said that Das has a metallic voice which suites for all type of characters. Katuri Ravindra Trivikram said that Das has given life to his scripts which were broadcasted in All India Radio. Other speakers Pilla Lakshmi Prasad, Vara Prasad, Golla Narayana Rao, Mohammad Kaza, Eswara Prasad, Samantapudi Narasa Raju, Manepalli Lakshmi kumara also spoke about Das. Ambati Madhumohana Krishna presided over the function.

Earlier Kasinadhuni Lakshmi Anuhya, disciple of Ghantasala Pavankumar, has performed Kuchipudi dance and appreciated by all. Later the disciples of Sappa Shivakumar presented a vibrant dance. General Secretary of Cultural Academy Seeram Subrahmanyam conducted the meeting and thanked the guests for participating.
