Movies and feature films are an inseparable part of citizen’s major entertainment basket. No matter which hero’s movie, the theaters are always crowded on the first day and on weekends. With many releases coming out every Friday, people are also taking it as an advantage to escape the scorching heat.

Last Friday, about 6 regional language movies hit the box office and people here are utilizing their time to cover as many of them as possible, irrespective of the reviews. Most marketing executives, people working in publishing houses, graphic and Photostat shops are taking time to watch a movie to escape the heat waves. Many commercial and service oriented establishments are remaining close from around 12 noon to 5 Pm, of late.

Jakka Mohan Krishna, who owns a Graphic Designing company in Gandhi Nagar said, “The summer has already arrived. Since there would be no clients coming to meet us during the peak afternoon time, I just go and watch a movie at one of the theaters here, which kills time.”

Also, many big ticket movies and movies made on smaller budgets are lined up for release within another three days. With the business raking, the box office collections are full and the theater houses too. Traders and distributors are head over heels to space up place for the next releases.
