M Umashankar Kumar, Chief Public Relations Officer, SCR said, “The coffee table book is intended to trace the rich history of the region. We are looking out for rail hobbyists and historians to share rare photographs that could be a part of the book. The contributors would be duly acknowledged.”

Umashankar says, “We are looking out for rare photographs of loco pilots of that period which will not only trace the genesis and development of the railway but also their lifestyle.” The SCR history dates back to the Nizam’s era dating back to 1897.
