As part of its efforts towards highlighting humanitarian spirit of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), the Rotary Club of Hyderabad screened the movie, ‘Access to Danger Zone’ that gave viewers and insiders’ view of MSF’s challenges in the face of security risks.

The event titled, ‘What it Takes to Save a Life: The MSF Experience’, was held at Taj Banjara recently and had a discussion between the general directors of MSF, India Martin Sloot and novelist Sriram Karri on the challenges of being a humanitarian worker.

“We are proud to partner with L Ravichander and Sriram Karri. I am also deeply humbled by the support offered by Rotary Club Hyderabad North. I sincerely hope that the event will offer a unique opportunity to bring forth the difficulties of our patients to access life-saving medical care in the most dangerous war zones and the challenges faced by humanitarian aid workers in such difficult contexts,” said Martin Sloot.
