It was an enthralling afternoon as actress Kajal Aggarwal along with Venus beauty expert and celebrity make-up artist Namrata Soni and renowned aesthetic physician Dr Rashmi Shetty came together to educate women on shaving and debunk myths that surround shaving. The panelists shared their experience with useful tips, techniques and benefits of shaving.

At the discussion, all three panelists vouched for shaving as the most hassle free and painless method of female hair removal. Commenting on the session, Namrata Soni said, “Shaving helps in maintaining the health of the skin by keeping it soft and smooth. Many of us are not aware that shaving actually helps exfoliate the skin.

As a matter of fact, shaving must become a part of every woman’s regular beauty regime with advanced products like the Gillette Venus razors that not only give the ease and convenience of shaving, but also enhance the experience.” As part of the discussion, Kajal also revealed her beauty secrets and inspired women to enjoy the freedom of choice with the convenience of grooming products that includes razors.

“Shaving has always been my preferred method of hair removal not only because it is convenient, but it is also skin friendly and safe. I think most women are not educated on the right technique of shaving and hence believe the myths that surround shaving,” said Kajal.

Sharing her experience Dr Rashmi Shetty said, “Contrary to the belief, shaving is actually one of the widely recommended methods of hair removal for women. The belief that shaving leads to darker skin or thicker hair growth is completely false. Hair growth is determined by the genetic and hormonal makeup of a person and has nothing to do with the hair removal method you adopt.”
