Indian students now stand an exciting chance to win an educational trip to the USA. An educational programme for junior scientists called the Bayer Science & Education Foundation is awarding 25 scholarships this year for the Bayer Science Camp in Denver, United States.
Indian students now stand an exciting chance to win an educational trip to the USA. An educational programme for junior scientists called the Bayer Science & Education Foundation is awarding 25 scholarships this year for the Bayer Science Camp in Denver, United States.
Upto 10 scholarships are open to school students from Germany, five each to people from the United States and India, and for the first time another five spots to youngsters from Africa. “Through our Science Teens Programme, we want to get talented junior scientists excited about medical advancements and network them internationally,” explained Thimo V Schmitt-Lord, Executive Director of the Bayer Foundations.
The theme of the science camps is “Life Science and Medical Health Issues” and will be conducted this year in partnership with STEM Harmony education centre at the University of Colorado, United States. The camp will take place from July 25 to August 8 in Denver, Colorado.
Applicants should be between the ages of 14 and 16. Interested applicants can download the form from the Bayer website, www.bayer.in and submit it with a one-page essay in English ’the role of life sciences in health and society‘ along with other particulars mentioned on the site to [email protected]/[email protected]. The deadline for applications is March 31, 2016.
