  • Use coconut or mustard oil all over the body which makes it easier to wash away the colours. One can also utilise cold creams and help the skin gain its natural color back.
  • One should wear clothes which cover the whole body. Long sleeve shirts and trousers play a vital role in minimising exposure to the colors.
  • Chemical colours can harm the skin a lot along with enhancing dryness. In order to tackle this issue, it’s advisable to apply some petroleum jelly.
  • Presence of strong chemicals in colours is capable of irritating and dehydrating the skin to a vast extent. There’s a need to turn to organic colors which don’t harm the skin much. Drinking a lot of water will help the human body a lot before the onslaught of Holi begins.
  • Lukewarm water should be used to wash off the colours from the face. Applying a mixture of glycerin, sea salt and aroma oil which help fight bacteria and infections.
  • In case of dry hair, apply oil and enjoy a night’s sleep. Wash it properly the next day while using shampoo and conditioner.
  • Trim your fingernails properly. Thick and bright nail polish helps in protecting the nails from toxic colors.
