As part of its efforts towards public awareness on important issues, Social Cause is hosting a seminar, ‘Terrorism Today—Aspects, Challenges and Responses’ at Assembly Hall, National Institute of Nutrition (MIN) at 10.30 am on Sunday.

As part of its efforts towards public awareness on important issues, Social Cause is hosting a seminar, ‘Terrorism Today—Aspects, Challenges and Responses’ at Assembly Hall, National Institute of Nutrition (MIN) at 10.30 am on Sunday.

Bringing together scholars, practitioners, analysts and policymakers the seminar is an edeavour to help in a better understanding of the phenomenon of terrorism and the way forward.

The event will be followed by a book launch on the subject, which is the outcome of an ‘International Counter-Terrorism Conference’ convened by India Foundation at Jaipur in 2015. It is authored by Maj Gen. Dhruv C Katoch, SM, VSM and economy think tank Shakti Sinha, who currently heads the Policy Research Group at the Bureau of Research in Industry and Economic Fundamentals (BRIEF).

Alok Bansal, Director, Centre for Security and Strategy, India Foundation; Executive Director, South Asian Institute for Strategic Affair (SAISA), New Delhi will be the Principle Speaker.

Aamir Saheb, Chairman, Maharashtra State Minorities Commission, Mumbai along with K Padmanabhaiah, Former Union Home Secretary will also be present at the event.
