Hyderabad to host throwball Natls

Telangana Throwball Association will be conducting the 27th Junior National throwball championship at Delhi Public School in Nacharam from April 28 to May 1. Lok Sabha member Kavitha Kalvakuntla on Monday unveiled the championship logo.

She said “Telangana State is in the forefront of promotion of sports that has been made more forceful with its sports policy. We want more sports events to come to Hyderabad as it will put the city on the global map” she said. Association President Naveen Yadav said that 25 State teams will be participating in the four-day event.

“ Our team was placed third in the South Zone championship. We hope to win the championship.” M Kumaraiah, Chairman, Delhi Public School also spoke on the occasion.
