Mayor exhorts youth on social service
The schools chosen were Kasturba School in Chevella, ZPS Kondaka, ZPHS Manneguda and ZPHS girls Chevella. The money raised through the event will be used for the betterment of the selected places.

“The betterment of the society can happen only through the youth. They should strive themselves towards social service,” said Mayor Bonthu Ram Mohan in a motivational address ahead of flagging off the ‘Run for Cause’ event. Upto 4,500 people including college students participated in the 2K Run, which was organised by Street Cause, at Jalavihar on Sunday with the aim of adopting villages.
Some of the villages which were chosen are Ikkareddyguda, Arronigudem, Nancheru and Hussainpur. The schools chosen were Kasturba School in Chevella, ZPS Kondaka, ZPHS Manneguda and ZPHS girls Chevella. The money raised through the event will be used for the betterment of the selected places.
Ahead of the event, Talwalkars the fitness partners perfumed a Zumba session. Start attraction for the event, actor Nikhil and RJ Chaitu were all praises for the event. Cheering the crowd, Nikhil performed a little Zumba with much enthusiasm and rendered his support for the cause.
