“Our vision through Spark10 is to see every house in India has an entrepreneur, he declared. Paul, who supported 100 companies, has turned them into multimillion US Dollars businesses. He wants to replicate the same through this programme here.

Speaking to media persons ahead of the programme, which is scheduled to begin from April 16, Atal Malviya, Founder of Spark10 said, “The first cohort would be announced on Saturday and the final 10 teams will be made public through episode of Spark10.tv.”

This is probably the first accelerator to produce television programmes to give visibility to the Startup community. “Out of 500 applications received, 21 had been interviewed after two rounds, which were held on Thursday to pick the final ten,” said Malviya.

“Spark10 will expand to other cities in Telangana and different parts of the country. We plan to invest 100 million in Indian Startups in the next two years. Our vision is to have 500 plus mentors. We have roped in 100 people for the same, who have already given their consent,” informed Malviya.
