Keeping children entertained in traditional Indian stories through digital media

Renowned singer SP Balasubrahmanyam launched the Lollipop stories mobile app at Park Hyatt. The app is an endeavour by the Lollipop Entertainments to keep children entertained in traditional Indian stories. K Vishwanath launched the CDs of the Lollipop Stories and Tammareddy Bharadwaja unveiled the YouTube channel of the same.

The company, a division of the Sprint Telefilms Pvt Ltd, has packaged and designed stories into fifteen interesting categories, which contain unique voices, modulations, sound effects accompanied with creative treatment.

The app comes as an authentic tool for children to learn Telugu language and pronunciation. At the onset, the company aims for launching ten story categories with appealing thumbnails for easy recognition.

Aiming to provide a new light to the age-old traditional values of Indian stories, Ramalakshmi Amireddy and D Rajendhira Prasadh, the Directors for Lollipop Entertainments believe in taking audience passion for storytelling to a pedestal of another level.
