New road rings hope
The cement and concrete road in the Bowenpally retail vegetable market was inaugurated by Cantonment MLA G Sayanna on Thursday. Speaking at the inauguration, G Sayanna said, “Laying of the long pending cement and concrete road; 800 m long and 7 meters wide, was taken up on war footing and completed in three months with a cost of Rs 35 lakhs provided by Prabhakar Rao funds.

It is a boon to the 160 retail vegetable vendors who do business on either side of the road and to a large number of customers who visit daily.” Also present at the inauguration were MLC Prabhakar, ward member Pandu Yadav, former vice-president of SCB Yampana Pratap, former chairman of Bowenpally agricultural market committee Muppidi Gopal along with local residents and members of the Muslim graveyard.
