Rich tributes were paid to saint poet Annamacharya at the ‘Annamayya Sankeerthana Vibhavari’ organised by Officers Colony Welfare Association at Dr AS Rao Nagar.
The concert was conceived and conceptualised by Annamayya Parivaramu founder YV Krishnaiah, who called it a befitting way of paying tributes to the deities through favourite keerthanas penned by the saint-poet Annamayya.
Sankeerthana Kokila NC Sridevi from Tirupathi performed at the devotional music concert and rendered keerthanas with devotional fervour. She sang popular keertanas Deva Namo Deva, Vinarobhagyamu Vishnukadha, Emani Pogadavachu Neetani Prabhavamu, Jayalaksmi Varalakshmi, Rama Dasaradha Rama and the famous Dachuko Nee Padalaku.
NC Vani compeered the programme with her melodious voice by narrating the bhava of keerthanas before it is sung and enthralled the audience. PSRK Pavan Kumar supported on violin and B Manjunath was on table.
