Hyderabad: Missouri State University (MSU), US has announced that it has extended the deadline for applying to undergraduate courses for the fall 2016 session April 30. The most sought after undergraduate courses among international students at MSU are bachelor in material sciences, bachelors of science in mechanical engineering technology, undergraduate programme in communication, bachelor of science in entrepreneurship major, bachelor of science in computer information systems major, bachelor of science in sccounting major and others.

“To ease the pressure of 10+2 students who are applying for undergraduate courses, we have extended the deadline till April 30, 2016. They can still apply for a course of their choice and we will process the application within a time frame of 3 to 4 weeks so that they join the upcoming fall 2016 intake”, stated Colonel Kent D Thomas, Assistant Vice President, International Programmes, Missouri State University, US.

In addition, the university has announced a slew of initiatives to make it easier for Indian students to realise their dream of studying in the US at MSU. The most significant being university’s decision to apply “Out-of-State Fee Waiver Programme” on Indian students too, which will reduce the annual fee by almost 50 per cent. The student must meet the SAT requirement (above the general entry requirements) to be eligible for this scholarship.
