Creation of traditional fabric

The second edition of Vedha is all set to begin at Taj Krishna in Banjara Hills on Sunday. Ahead of the event, the curtain raiser was held on Friday where models presented a preview of the khadi designs, which will be on display at the exhibition cum sale.Indrani CEO of MI Designers said, “I always wanted to get into this concept and want to promote Khadi, which is traditional of India.”

For the first time 10 designers will be showcasing their creations in traditional fabrics in modern techniques. “One can get bridal collection to corporate collection, to home décor at the exhibition at reasonable prices. Khadi would be promoted extensively in the event.

Designers would be working on Khadi clothing, footwear and accessories. Hyderabad is the start-up for the exhibition, we are planning to go Ahmadabad, Guwahati, Kolkata and Dhaka,” said Indrani.
