Lasers in dentistry are safe

In a first-of-its-kind workshop, ‘Lasertron 2016’, renowned laser dental surgeon Dr Ashank Mishra said, “Lasers in dentistry are safe.” The workshop, which was organised by the all women dental care centre, ‘Dentashine’, had participation of surgeons from all over India. Dr Mishra provided insights of laser dentistry, which included its benefits, safety aspects and beneficial usage in special cases.

Dr Kulsum Mirza, Chief Organiser of Lasertron and Director, DentaShine said, "Lasers in dentistry has provided some astonishing and safe results, which can be used in pregnant women and people with age related issues,” and added that the current workshop was conducted to bring awareness of lasers in dentistry among surgeons.
