Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology and Street Cause together organised annual program Umang -16 for children of orphan home and social welfare school bringing them to the Institute. Students, volunteers and staff of MGIT participated in the program along with them.

Hyderabad: Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology and Street Cause together organised annual program Umang -16 for children of orphan home and social welfare school bringing them to the Institute. Students, volunteers and staff of MGIT participated in the program along with them.

Snehitha, ACP - SHE Team, Cyberabad encouraged the students in organising such programs to fulfill the social obligations and helping the needy especially from the youth. She also spoke about how the under privileged children develop a positive attitude towards the society by attending such programs.

She explained the role of police, especially SHE team in protecting the women and how the people can approach it whenever a necessity arises. Principal G Chandra Mohan Reddy appreciated the efforts of students in conducting such events. He assured that the Institute will support all such activities in all possible ways.

Children enjoyed well at the Institute spending almost the whole day and they were made to exhibit their talent in various arts like dance, singing etc., Gifts and mementos were given to them. Lastly the students of MGIT entertained them with their performances.
