Bhavya Shobha Yatra marks Mahavir Jayanti celebrations

Mahavira\'s teachings have great impact on today’s society. They are more relevant than before.  These preaches if followed faithfully, among others have two main benefits. Firstly, they produce a better society for every creature. 

Upto 20,000 disciples of Lord Mahavira participated assembled at Exhibition Ground in Nampally to participate in the Bhavya Shobha Yatra and celebrated Mahavir Jayanti on Tuesday.

The yatra began at 8 am at Sri Mahaveer Swami Jain Shwetabhar Temple at Feelkhana and travelled through various localities. The Dharma Sabha was addressed by Jain gurus, monks and veterans.

Secondly, they enable the individual to improve his or her own inner feelings and character,” informed the speakers who addressed on the occasion.

Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy along with the office bearers of Sri Jain Seva Sangh Ashok Saklecha, President; Vinod Kimtee, Secretary Vimalchand Mutha, Treasurer; Convenors of the Celebrations: Navin Alijhar, Mansukh Gandhi, Yogesh Singhi participated in the celebrations.
