The project director was speaking after the job mela, which was jointly organised by MEPMA and Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) at Hari Hara Kala Bhavan in Secunderabad on Tuesday.

The mela was organised as part of the ‘100 Days Action Plan’ to provide employment and training opportunities to educated unemployed youth in Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts.

The job fair was launched by Ch Malla Reddy. More than 40 companies participated with their HR experts to recruit eligible applicants in fields like information technology, technical, non-technical, pharma, sales and marketing. The posts covered salary ranging from Rs 8,000 to Rs 30,000 per month on the bases on qualification and skills.

Ch Malla Reddy said, “Educated youth are the promising citizens of tomorrow. I appeal to girls and women to take a lead role in securing employment in large numbers, which is the need of the hour for the country’s economic development and its prosperity.”

L Vandana Kumar, additional mission director, MEPMA, said, “We propose to provided 2,000 placements in job mela and such shows will be conducted shortly in all the 10 Telangana districts to provide maximum employment to the educated youth.”
