Hyderabad: The Kalaa Collective in association with Ramanaidu Film School is offering a unique two day film appreciation course on April 23 & 24 - called Revisiting the Magic of Cinema at the Ramanaidu Film Studios.
The programme consists of screenings, discussions, and interaction with experts from the field. The sessions will be conducted by Hariharan Krishnan, noted film-scholar and ex-dean of LV Prasad Film and TV School.
K Hariharan is a graduate from FTII in Film Direction. After making ‘Ghashiram Kotwal’ (Marathi) he settled in Chennai where he made 6 feature films including 'Ezhavathu Manithan’ (The 7th Man) which won the National Award for best Tamil film in 1982,
and the Afro-Asian Solidarity Award at the Moscow International Film Festival in 1983. He has served on several film juries in India and abroad. He founded the LV Prasad Film & TV Academy in 2004 and was its Dean for ten years.
