The NIIT University (NU) is conducting a seminar on ‘Careers of the Future’ for engineering aspirants at Hotel Tabla in Dilsukhnagar from 12 noon onwards on Saturday.
Vijay Thadani, Co-Founder, NIIT Group will guide students on emerging careers, changing landscape of job markets, required set of new skills and knowledge and different fields of engineering, help them identify the right field based on their interest and aptitude, and enlighten them on the plethora of new career opportunities that will be available to engineering graduates.
Elaborating on the rational for holding the seminar Vijay Thadani, said, “Over the years NU has successfully created a new model of education to build careers that foster critical thinking, innovation and a research centric approach, to shape individual minds.
Through this seminar, we aim to educate students and parents about the emerging career options and NU’s approach on teaching methodology that is aimed towards developing these critical traits”.
Dr Parimal Mandke, Vice-President, NU will talk about the characteristics of a 21st Century University and shared teaching –learning model of NU. She will also focus on NU’s entrepreneurship platforms. Students who have recently appeared for Class XII board exams can attend the session.
