National Institute of Tourism & Hospitality Management (NITHM) – Gachibowli, Hyderabad, is conducting a four day summer programmes for school children.

Hyderabad: National Institute of Tourism & Hospitality Management (NITHM) – Gachibowli, Hyderabad, is conducting a four day summer programmes for school children.

1.Orientation course in Hospitality for school children from May 23 to 26; between 10am – 1pm. Kids will have a chance to learn to make sandwiches, milkshakes, burger, pizza, cookies etc. They will be taught dining etiquette, table set-up etc. Package cost Rs 800 per person.

2.Cocktail & Mocktail making from May 25 to 27 between 10 am – 1pm. Children get to learn different cocktails and mocktails with garnishes. Package cost Rs 900 per person.

3.Bakery Training from June 06 to 09 between 10am – 1pm. Kids get hands on experience in baking items like pastries puff, croissants, danish pastry, cake, cookies and biscuits, muffins and cold desserts. Package price Rs.1,200 per person.

Besides, NITHM is also conducting a saturday workshops this summer from 10am – 4pm. Each work shop is priced at Rs 750 per head and we invite home makers and those interested to come learn various cuisines, at NITHM.

1.Chinese Cuisine: On May 21, Menu: Vegetable clear soup, crispy corn, golden fried prawns, schezwan fried rice, chicken 65 and banana toffee.

2.Indian Sweets: On May 28, Menu: Milh hulwa, Ashoka hulwa, Shahi tukda, Channa payesh and Elaneer payasam.

3.Cold Puddings: On June 4, Menu: Mango mousse, Set cheese cake and Tiramisu.

4.Hyderabadi Cuisine: On June 18, Menu: Hyderabadi Marag,Shikampuri kebab,Hyderabadi paya Nihari, Kachhi gosht ki biryani and Kubani ka Meetha.

Registrations are open for all the workshops, rush call the respective numbers to register for yourself and friends too. These workshops are open to the interested general public, homemakers, self employed and working professionals of both genders.
