10 children staged a play ‘And Then There Were None’, directed by Aarti Phatarphekar at Lamakaan, and mesmerised audience with their performance

The play revolves around a group of 10 people who visit an island for the weekend. And all of sudden one by one gets killed and they do not know who or what is killing the people. The group loses trust and they start doubting each other.

Speaking about working with children Aarti Phatarphekar, director of the play said, “We are conducting workshops for children since six years in Hyderabad.

The main theme of our workshops is to encourage creativity and acting skills in children. We also work with schools that offer drama as a subject. During the last six years, we have staged almost 70 plays.”

Adit Fonseca, a child artiste who performed in the play said, “My character name is Anthony Marston and he is a rich spoilt young man who likes to drive recklessly and he lacks a conscience.”

The one-hour play enthralled the audience and the natural acting ability of this young brigade was appreciated by the viewers.
