Nizam Basketball Academy (NBA) won the inaugural Don Bosco open basketball tournament while defeating Sanatnagar Basketball Club (SBC) 44-37 in the final late Sunday night. At half-time, the winner was marginally ahead at 21-19.

It was a good comeback by NBA as they were trailing 10-11 at the end of the first quarter. Vijay, Dominic, Balaji and Pavan combined well to overcome the spirited efforts of player of the finals, Prudhvi and Nikhil for SBC.
Ajay from HAL was declared as the Most Valuable Player.Later, Norman Isaac, General Secretary, Telangana Basketball Association, gave away the prizes in the presence of Rev Fr James.
