Maisram Playground and Abbas Union romped home in the Little Star Cup football tournament, conducted by Hyderabad Globe Football Club, by annexing the Under-12 and U-14 titles respectively.

The Under-12 final was decided via the tie-breaker, which Maisram achieved over Hyderabad Globe Academy after the regulation time ended goalless.
The titlist owe a lot to their goal-keeper, Masood, who did a splendid job under the bar while saving near-probable goals and landed up with the best goal-keeper of the tournament award. Hyderabad Globe Academy defender Syed Junaid uddin was declared best defender.
Abbas Union FC posted a solitary goal win over Hyderabad Globe Boys in the Under-14 final with the winner coming from Zia in the last minute of the match.
Later Charminar Legislator Syed Ahmed Pasha Qadri gave away the prizes. Corporator Syed Mahmood Qadri, Chairman of Jasarat Group of Education Syed Hyder Ali, Saidabad Club Secretary Dastagir Khan, OU football coach G M Yazdani, the varsity football team manager Ahmed Ali, Secretary of Social Sporting Club Manzoor Khan, Shameem Ahmed, Khalid Bin Mazi, Syed Khaliduddin and Wahab Ansari graced the prize distribution function.
