According to a recent CMR report, Datawind Inc. sold 34.2 per cent of all tablets in India during the first quarter of this year becoming the top seller which is followed by Samsung, the company that sold 20.9 per cent of the total sales. IDC’s recent studies have also confirmed the company’s Indian tablet market leadership followed by Samsung and third being Lenovo.

According to a recent CMR report, Datawind Inc. sold 34.2 per cent of all tablets in India during the first quarter of this year becoming the top seller which is followed by Samsung, the company that sold 20.9 per cent of the total sales. IDC’s recent studies have also confirmed the company’s Indian tablet market leadership followed by Samsung and third being Lenovo.

The CMR study also shows that DataWind holds a remarkable 74.4% market share in the sub-Rs 5,000 tablet segment, which is the largest and fastest growing segment of the market having increased to 46 per cent of the overall tablet market in India.
