Muslims of the city took to the first day of the holy month of Ramadan in its complete spirit on Tuesday. Mass ‘iftaars’ were set up at various locations where fruits, haleem and ‘dahi vadas’ were distributed to the devotees. We bring a glimpse of the iftaar at Makkah Masjid in Old City where people gathered in large numbers for breaking their fast and offered prayers.
