Lending helping hand for the needy

Colours Services and Entertainment Unit on Tuesday organised an event ‘Manam’ (Together) at Indira Park on Tuesday. The main objective of the event was to distribute free clothes to poor people.

Free food, fruits and water were also served to all people who were present at the event. The programme was attended by TV artists Preeti Nigam and Naagesh Karra among others.

Venu Sravan, anchor, RJ and actor, said, “It is a small initiative by all of us to help the poor and downtrodden people, with food and clothing, which they cannot afford due to poverty.

This is the second year we are conducting this event and we are looking forward to doing more such initiatives in the years to come. We have a mission to help the poor and needy to meet their basic amenities with collective effort.”
