The workers are protesting in front of Gandhi hospital and demanding for the implementation of GO no 68 dated 15-07-2015 issued by Medical and Health department of Government of Telangana and subsequent government memo no 5614/ F1/2015
The government hospital sanitation contract workers dharna entered into the fourth day on Tuesday. The workers are protesting in front of Gandhi hospital and demanding for the implementation of GO no 68 dated 15-07-2015 issued by Medical and Health department of Government of Telangana and subsequent government memo no 5614/ F1/2015 issued by the then principal secretary health department Suresh Chandra for increase of wages and other residual benefits on par with other contract employees. There are more than 1,500 government hospital sanitation contract workers in 12 government hospitals working in the city.
