Lecture in memory of MP Chary

Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE), Hyderabad regional centre organised the ninth MP Chary memorial lecture, instituted by CMD, Elbit Medical Diagnostics Ltd Anantha Chary in memory of his father at Gurukul, NFC.

The Memorial Lecture was delivered by former chairman & chief executive of Nuclear Fuel Complex Dr N Saibaba on “Advances in Nuclear Technology for Common Man”.

The doctor focused on the contributions of the department of atomic energy in the fields of health, agriculture, nuclear medicine, water desalination apart from the main mandate of power generation. President of IIChE and Jubilant Life Sciences Ltd, Noida’s executive director Shyam Bang, delivered a lecture on “Make in India – opportunities and challenges for manufacturing sector”.

Present at the occasion were Padma Bhushan A V Rama Rao, former direction of IICT, Director, AVRA Labs, G Kalyanakrishnan, Chairman and Chief Executive of Nuclear Fuel Complex. Former presidents of IIChE Sethuraman and Bhaskar Reddy along with founder members of IIChE, HRC, former HRC chair persons, the members and engineers of NFC, IICT, professors and students of OUCT, CBIT, BVRIT, CVSR, BITS, NIT also attended the lecture.
