Synchrony Financial family’s fun day

Consumer financial services company Synchrony Financial celebrated its 16-year-old tradition ‘Incredible India Family Day’ as a part of its global engagement and inclusion counsel initiative on Friday.

The event was attended by over 5,000 people including the staff, stakeholders and families of the employees of the business, who were dressed in Indian fusion wear and seen engrossed in plethora of activities planned for the evening.

The performances included an Indian fusion dance by India’s Got Talent fame, Manjula Ramaswamy Group, a dance by the in-house stars at Synchrony. DJ Shikar’s fusion music, with the audience cheering, dancing and having a great time and India’s leading illusionist David who left the people spellbound with his acts of mystic and mental intelligence.

Speaking on the occasion, Sr Vice President and business leader, Faisal Uddin said, “The Incredible India Family Day is one of our initiatives to take the life at Synchrony initiative to the next level and help strengthen the connection between the employees of Synchrony Financial and their families. This is a great opportunity for families to spend quality time together and enjoy outdoor family-fun and get to know each other better.

Thanking his employees he said, “We are truly a diverse and dynamic organization with 44 per cent of workforce constituting of women employees and 34 specially-abled employees and are extremely happy that we have such an amazing workforce and I want to take this opportunity to thank each one of our employees and their families for their support and encouragement in making us deliver better.”
