Authorities of Kasu Brahamanda Reddy (KBR) national park in Banjara Hills said that the last date for renewing walkers’ annual permit passes is Monday and appealed all the pass holders to pay either by logging on to the website or manually get it renewed at the park’s entry point till 8.00 pm on Monday by producing the following documents - one passport size photograph, ID proof, age proof for seniors and original old permit card along with its xerox.

The permit pass fee for senior citizens would be Rs 1000 and others 1500 annually. Regular walker for the past 16 years, ( Retd ) commissioner of income tax M V R Prasad, said, “Website is not functioning and I visited their office around three to four times for manual payment for renewal.

It was not done by the authorities till Thursday and my card is expiring on 30 June 2016,” he added. However, a spokes person from the park said, there was a technical problem led to a server down because of a bug and claimed that the issue was resolved and the website is functional. In reality it was not functional till Friday.
