Mumbai based food writer and baker Saee Koranne Khandekar, recently launched her book ‘Crumbs – Bread stories and Recipes’. She was at SodaBottleOpenerWala to introduce the book. She shared, “The book is all about breads - sheermal to ciabatta, bhakri to baguette – and any kind of bread-making!”

After a short session of book reading, Chef Kulbeer of SBOW began to demonstrate the making of Mumbai’s favourite bread – the pav. And, Saee took her turn too! She baked delicious buttered surti biscuit to the delight of the audience and said the biscuits make tea time a whole lot interesting.

She took to answering some questions from baking enthusiasts over tea and shared tips that included the process of making the dough to temperature regulations for different kinds of breads.
