Emesco Books and Penguin Books released ‘Half-Lion’ authored by Vinay Sitapati and ‘Narasimhudu’ its Telugu version, translated by G Valliswar, T Ashok, and KB Gopalam, at Hotel Taj Krishna on Thursday. The programme was hosted by Emesco Vijay Kumar.

The English version of the book was released by K Ramachandra Murthy, Editorial Director, Sakshi Media and the Telugu book was launched by K Srinivas, Chief Editor, Andhra Jyothy. Speaking on the occasion Mandali Budda Prasad, Deputy Speaker, AP Legislative Assembly said, “As my father shared a close relationship with PV Narasimha Rao, I know him from my childhood.

I have so many memories with him. He was a great visionary and reformer. When he was a minister he brought immense change to AP’s education system. He with his Chanakya type policies changed the course of India in his reign as prime minister.”

“Atal Bihari Vajpayee had the opportunity to witness the Pokhran blast but it was PV Narasimha Rao who put everything on a platter for him. I had the privilege to read this before the launch and it is a very well researched book,” K Ramachandra Murthy said.

Rajani, Senior Editor, Penguin Books said, “The book is already creating ripples within one week of its launch. The media stands proof to it. Vinay has done extensive work and he interviewed hundreds of people and he had access to documents to pen this book.”
