Hyderabad-based WAROTH (We Are all Alone that is Humanity)Foundation, headed by Bharath Sangam, is focusing attention on helping the needy by implementing six aims and objectives. They include encouraging local products and making available essential commodities like vegetables, fruits and onions, disposal food-related organic products, besides hygienic chemicals, which help keep houses and their surroundings clean.
Sangam said on Monday that the Foundation, set up for the first time in the country with the aim of stopping migration of people from rural to urban areas, proposed to help local residents set up centres of the organisation in each municipal division, with facility of displaying the products free of cost for six months.
Each applicant has to pay Rs 500 as charge (postal charges extra). The applicants should be producers of the products, being promoted by the foundation, besides those made by inmates of prisons. The foundation, he stated, which wants to ensure safety and survival of dairy/animal husbandry-based industries, besides the environment. It also wants to contribute to the promotion of games.
Sangam invited farmers who are involved in production of organic fruits and vegetables to set up centres of the Foundation in other cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, which should be ideally located close to health centres, bus-stands, Anganwadi units.
