Telangana State magicians body commemorates Samala’s birthday
Renowned international Magician and Illusionist Samala Venu\'s birthday was celebrated by the State\'s magicians, magic diploma students and well wishers at Potti Sriramulu Telugu University in Nampally on Wednesday. The event also marked the inauguration of Telangana Magicians Association and was graced by Murali Krishna, Vittal Rao, Dinkar Babu, MD & VC of Sports Authority of Telangana State.
Renowned international Magician and Illusionist Samala Venu's birthday was celebrated by the State's magicians, magic diploma students and well wishers at Potti Sriramulu Telugu University in Nampally on Wednesday. The event also marked the inauguration of Telangana Magicians Association and was graced by Murali Krishna, Vittal Rao, Dinkar Babu, MD & VC of Sports Authority of Telangana State.
Several noted magicians had performed on the occasion. The association was set up for bringing the state's magicians on one platform for their welfare by providing them with job opportunities and insurance benefits. They also threw light on on witch craft, Black magic etc.
There are also plans to launch a multi-purpose website for the benefit of magicians and event organisers who can book their shows through this site. Samala Venu performed one magic trick based on the Plantation awareness.Speaking on the occasion Vittal, member TPSC, assured government support to the association at every step.
The Telugu University runs a six-month regular Diploma magic course, the first of its kind in the world. This course was initiated by Samala Venu last year. Wife Samala Madhavi offered cake to Venu, also seen in the picture.
