Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) pledged to plant 1,00,000 saplings at the Hyderabad Central University (HCU) campus on Monday and maintain them for the next three years.

Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) pledged to plant 1,00,000 saplings at the Hyderabad Central University (HCU) campus on Monday and maintain them for the next three years.

As a part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the apex body will be supporting Telangana government’s initiative “Telangana Ku Haritha Haram” by planting saplings.

As a request to the government for allotting them an area for plantation the government allotted about 350 acres of land in the University of Hyderabad (UoH) campus, where some part of the campus still needs plantation.

The transportation of saplings has begun where CREDAI 50,000 saplings of different varieties will be transported from Tellapur HMDA nursery and the other 50,000 saplings from Shamshabad nursery.

Speaking about the initiative president of CREDAI, Hyderabad S Ram Reddy said, “Building the green cover for Hyderabad has been an endeavor of the members of CREDAI.

We are going to plant 1 lakh saplings in the allocated land at Hyderabad Central University campus and we believe we will be the single largest private body to plant thee many saplings on July 11 this year.”
