Chitresh Thatta of Tamil Nadu Sailing Association (TNSA) continued to dominate in the Optimist class at the Secunderabad Sailing Club KPCT Youth Open Regatta here on Friday.

He won three of the four races on the day. He and Harshita were given black flags in the sixth and seven races respectively
The morning session saw gusty wind conditions, which, nevertheless, were thrilling for the contestants and the spectators alike.
In Race no 7 Chitresh led from start to finish leaving the fleet behind by almost 20 boat lengths lead at the finish.
The other notable performances were those of KS Anirudh of TNSA who had four top 5 finishes including a first in the final race of the day Chitresh now sits comfortably in the driver seat with his eyes set on the gold medal.
Ashish Vishwakarma has been the most consistent sailor in the regatta till now.
