For a better tomorrow

ITC’s Paperboards and Specialty Papers Division (ITC PSPD), as a major partner of the Mega Plantation Drive of the Telangana Government, is contributing to this path-breaking initiative, by planting 5 lakh saplings.

Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Singh, Divisional Chief Executive, ITC-PSPD, said, “As part of the initiative, we will also share GPS coordinates of the aforesaid plantations, as well as ensure maintenance of plants for next three years.”

For over a decade now, ITC Limited has remained at the forefront of environmental performance by adopting innovative models that contribute significantly and meaningfully to the creation of environmental and social capital.

It is the only company in the world of comparable dimensions to have remained Carbon, Water and Solid Waste Recycling Positive for the past Eleven, Fourteen and Nine years respectively. ITC’s large scale Social and Farm Forestry Programme implemented by the PSPD has also helped in the greening of more than 2,25,000 hectares and has created more than 100 million person days of employment.

This initiative is a flagship example of an innovative model crafted by ITC to make a meaningful contribution to social and environmental wealth creation.
