Pokémon mania hits Hyderabad
The recently released Augmented Reality (AR) game from Nintendo ‘Pokémon Go’ has taken over the world and Hyderabad is not far behind in being smitten by it. Of course, Pokémon has always been a part of our life. Although, the game is not officially launched in India, people in the city are using an APK File to download the same, which is available on internet.

Come Sunday and upto 1,500 Hyderabadis are set to come in full force in a remarkable display of their love for Pokémon. Fuelling the craze, Akshay has organised a ‘Pokémon Go Hyderabad’ walk, the ‘PokéWalk’ at a leading public park from 9 am to 12 pm.
Revealing details on people of the city playing the game despite it not being officially launched here, Akshay says, “A friend of mine from Philippines started playing this game and she told me about it. She uploaded it on drive and sent it to me.
I started playing this game and passed this link to my friends. And, they passed it to theirs. Similar things happened elsewhere in India as well.” Of course, the walk is in no way affiliated to Pokémon Go or Niantic Inc. and is being organised as a gesture of the love fans hold for Pokémon.
