Hyderabad: Woxsen School of Business, located at Kamkole village in Munipally mandal in Medak district, has announced plans coming out with an arts and design school.

Informing this in a press note issued in Hyderabad, Woxsen School of Business Chairman, Veen Pula, disclosed their expansion plans. The school has already commenced its admissions and starts functioning fully from this academic year.


College offers four year professional degree in:

  • Fashion design
  • Textile design
  • Product design
  • Interior design
  • Retail management

The school is the brain-child of a UK-based entrepreneur and educationist, Veen Pula. “This is the golden age of design. Many companies are known for their friendly user interface and product design such as Apple, Pintrest and Square. If you closely look at the common thread, it has been the ‘design’.

It is at the core of their businesses. So we saw an opportunity and India needs the very best Arts and Design school. The time is right for such a school,” informed Veen Pula.

“Admissions to all under-graduate courses in design are under progress. Courses offered include - fashion design, textile design, product design, interior design and retail management-.

All these are four years under-graduate programs. The maximum intake for all the four streams put together will be 100,” she added.

“This is the right time to be in Arts and Design stream. The world of design development, research and execution is seeing its finest moments now. Arts & Design is being incorporated in every aspect of life - be it product, clothing, interior,” says Sharmila Nagraj, Director, Arts and Design School.

The faculty has been drawn from the best design schools from all over the world. Students can expect not just excellence in teaching but also the latest research knowledge and mentorship through the various stages of learning informs Sharmila.
