Play-school students of Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet, Hyderabad, dressed up as wild animals and trees to point out the need and importance of afforestation and biodiversity conservation on Nature Conservation Day.
​Hyderabad: Play-school students of Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet, Hyderabad, dressed up as wild animals and trees to point out the need and importance of afforestation and biodiversity conservation on Nature Conservation Day.
Students played a skit to express the anguish of trees and animals which were being chopped down and forced to extinction in the name of urbanisation.
The programme ended with a symbolic tree-plantation, which was conducted by Jayanthi Venkataraman, Principal, Sister Nivedita School.
She lauded the efforts of all participants and also reminded the students and parents to keep up the campaign and not limit it as a one-day celebration.
