​Hyderabad: BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women, has celebrated its first graduation day ceremony for the outgoing batch of students on Sunday in its campus. It was a momentous occasion!KVN Sunitha, Founder, Principal, BVRITH, declared the ceremony open and gave the college report. S D Shikhamany, Founder Vice- Chancellor of YSR Horticulture University, attended as the chief guest to the event. The ceremony was presided over by the Chairman SVES, Vishnu Raju and Prof SundarRajan, Director SVES was the guest of honour.

He further stressed on the inter-disciplinary approach in resolving the problems, confronting the areas of energy, water, food & environment.

The Chairman of the institution K V Vishnu Raju, appreciated the graduated students for their inventions in engineering clinic, incubation centre, Assistive Technology Labs (ATL)&Women in Software Engineering (WISE) programmes conducted at the campus.

The director of Sri Vishnu Educational Society, Srinivasan SundarRajan congratulated the students onattaining the degree and to the college for the record placements. He advised the students to work hard and to be punctual in all the works they perform.

Principal of the college, KVN Sunitha, spoke about the achievements of the first batch and advised the students to have a strong alumni network of the college. Following the event, the scholastic students were awarded with a certificate of appreciation and gold medals.

The students of all the departments received their course completion certificates on the occasion. The ceremony closed on an exuberant note of pledge by the principal. Heads of the departments, faculty and the parents participated with great enthusiasm in this event.
