Hyderabad Randonneurs will organise its 109 km club bicycle ride ‘The Pearl’ at the Indian School of Business (ISB) in Gachibowli on Saturday as a stepping stone to brevet.
Hyderabad Randonneurs will organise its 109 km club bicycle ride ‘The Pearl’ at the Indian School of Business (ISB) in Gachibowli on Saturday as a stepping stone to brevet.
The race director Bharath VR, while introducing the ride explained, “We planned our first club bicycle ride as a shorter ride to get more people into cycling and encourage hyderabadi's to adapt a greener lifestyle.”
The ride will follow the rules of brevets to give riders a close look at how they are organised and ridden. In the spirit of Randonneuring (riding brevets) navigation is a challenge/skill and rider has to follow the cue sheet (route card) and keep on track and finish on time.
Upon successful completion, the rider is honored with our (Hyderabad Randonneurs) special finisher’s medal.
