The event featured panel discussions and talks on both the days with prominent speakers like- Ramesh Lognaathan,VP & Centre Head, Progress Software Hyderabad Labs , Rajiv Lulla, CEO Capricorn Gifting Sol. Pvt.Ltd., Viivek Verma ,Co-Founder Anaptyxi People consult Pvt. Ltd. , Shruti Murugan ,Director –Community & Marketing at T-Hub, Radhika Meenakshi , Founder of Wise Owl Consulting, Hema Balakrishnan, Social Entrepreneur ,Color D Earth.

This Summit gave platform for students, project creators, and start-ups, individuals, where they can present their and a chanve to win Rs 30,000 cash prize for best idea and Rs 10,000 for first two runner-ups.

Speaking on the occasion G S Kohli, Vice Chairman Gurunanak Institutions, said "GNI is one of the institutions in the nation to set up A first of its kind IT Park in the Campus "The Decode IT Park"- GNI has always been in the forefront in terms of entrepreneurship and in delivering industry ready students to the companies.

The E-Summit by GNI is an Interface which brings together the mentors, investors, start ups and students with creative idea's under one roof."

Kohli added that E-Summit is a two day extravaganza open for students, startups, entrepreneurs, etc. Students can attend panel discussions, seminars by renowned tech-entrepreneurs, and also participate in various business competition's, he further encouraged the students to participate with enthusiasm and be the part of the fastest growing startup industry of India.

Jayesh Ranjan- IAS , IT secretary , Govt. of Telangana -Stressed on the importance of eco-friendly entrepreneurs, and mentioned about Telangana which is one of the best state for startups in the nation, Jayesh Ranjan asked the students to be determined about their goals, because entrepreneurship is not an easy task but being an employer rather than employee would benefit everyone.

Antony Whitbread ,Research Program(Executive) Director , Innovation Systems for the Drylands at ICRISAT mentioned the Importance of techno startup in agriculture segment. He added that "Agriculture is a core business in India and there is a vast requirement of techno-startups which will help farmers in various ways.

Antony further said, "They are around 400 million farmers in India and tech based startups for farmers will improve their yield and boost their profits thus increase in economy of the nation.
