The youthful energy and spirit was electrifying with the High School students performing a rib tickling musical. Set during the times of the epidemic ‘Dhinchak Virus’, the virus triggers students to break into singing and dancing.

The play opened with news footage on the News Hour, with Arnab Goswami, debating the causes and prevention of the epidemic. Meanwhile, at St. Andrews School, the management and teachers look for methods to control the virus, exemplifying the role teachers played in transforming the lives of students and saving them from the virus.

The skit ended with the message – love and care can nurture students and mould them. As the finale, the student band dedicated the song 'Stand by Me’, to all their teachers for being pillars of love and strength.

The Principal, Shamita Bhattacharya, in her speech, lauded the students for their performances and urged them to take chances in life to achieve greater heights.

She also encouraged students to make a mark in any sphere of life. Celebrations continued with a special luncheon by the School Management.
